Just Swinging Around

Lily likes to spread the love and with the recent warm weather she could do just that in this spring outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Quale:)

"My Little Pony"
This is my first attempt at putting a ponytail in Lily's hair. It didn't work well since she has so many cowlicks. I think I would need to wet her hair before trying again.

The gorgeous weather we've had lately has been such a blessing. Lily got to try out the swings for the first time on Friday. She got a kick out of it, literally...her legs were going 100 miles an hour at times! Lily also got to swing on the big swings with Dad this weekend and almost fell asleep on his lap:)

This picture is also from her first swinging experience. I forgot to change the camera mode from black and white, but I'm glad I did because I got this picture!

Lily still isn't into crawling yet, but she loves to roll around as her main mode of transportation. One day recently, she was doing that and wound up partially under her play mat blanket. Then she grabbed it and pulled it up off her face and smiled. So, I said "peek-a-boo, Lily!" Then she let it cover her eyes and pulled it up again. She was playing peek-a-boo herself for the first time! This cause an outpouring of giggles...from both of us:)

Hi Lily!
I was listening to some VINTAGE Guns N Roses the other day and thought of you. Spending time in the cities was great. I can't wait to be able to cruise on over and see you whenever.

Wow! You're sure cute in all those new pictures. What a tragedy it would have been had you inherited your Uncle Ryan's photogenic qualities. *wink*

Grandma and Grandpa Quale are anxious to show you their African safari slideshow. It's way cool! Here's some advice though: Take a nappy beforehand and remember that the giraffe section does eventually end. Grandpa did a great job with the slideshow and Grandma spent lots of hard work on the photo albums. Both will always remind them of their incredible experience.

Keep your eye open for a nice, affordable apartment for me. I'll be in Minneapolis before you can say "Sweet Child O Mine".
