Here are a few newer pictures of Lily as she has hit the 3 week old milestone! These pictures are deceiving in that you must think that she's asleep all of the time. That's just not the case. It seems, especially lately, that we have ended our newborn grace period and Lily has become a little more "high maintenance" as we like to call it. Luckily she was a little angel for her newborn photo session yesterday and was actually awake and happy through most of it. I can't wait to see the pictures! One of our projects right now is to get her used to her carseat and stroller. So far, she has been very unhappy in the car and impossible to take for walks. Yesterday, I finally tried putting her in the stroller without the carseat so she wasn't sitting so upright. That definitely seemed to help since I made it twice around our complex with no screaming! However, that doesn't solve the problem of the car or the fact that I want to take her jogging with the jogging stroller I bought soon. Hopefully she'll just grow out of it as she gets a little bigger. It's weird because you usually hear about parents taking their babies for rides in the car to calm them down since they love it. I guess Lily is deciding to go against the grain on that one:)

Lily was the perfect little granddaughter at the Sweet Corn Feed on Sunday! She sure impressed everyone with her good behavior. It was so fun to have Lily meet all the 'Erickson girls' and their families and have everybody here (except Adam, Holly and Hayden :( ) - even if it did rain all day. I love my Lily charm and will take it with me to Great Britain and Italy. I'm sure going to miss you guys! I'm so glad we can keep in touch with the laptop and the blog. Love ya all!!!
