Here are a few pictures from Lily's first day of preschool, her first ballet/tap class, and Audrey's first day of ECFE. I actually was not that anxious about Lily starting preschool. I knew we picked a great school and I knew she was VERY ready. To be honest, I was too. In fact, the person who had the toughest time that first day was Audrey. She really wanted to stay with Lily and Adia at preschool! So I distracted her with lots of painting when we got home:) That seemed to soothe the pain. That still is her favorite thing to do while Lily is at school. Lily has also been taking a ballet/tap class through Plymouth Parks and Recreation. She LOVES it. I think it's really good for her too to work on coordination and listening skills. The class is pretty adorable to watch. Lastly, Audrey has her very own class! She seems to like it and does fine when we separate for the parenting class. She likes to bring her Dora backpack everytime and put it in her locker (since that is what big sis does!). It's been really nice to have some more alone time with Audrey. She has had a huge language spurt and I think it is partly to do with the fact she has more time to use her voice without Lily chiming in:) It has been an adjustment to go from making our own plans most days to having almost every day scheduled. We've settled into a rountine though and I think everyone is happy!
