Farewell (Great) Grandpa

Earlier this month, my Grandpa Williams passed away at the age of 90. Thankfully, we were able to make it work to go to WI for the funeral. It wasn't until I watched almost my entire family file into the pews at the church that it really hit me that Grandpa was gone. He was a great man and will be greatly missed.

My uncle Don receiving the flag at the cemetery.

Gun salute. Believe it or not, Audrey slept through this!

The Williams "kids" - Don, my dad, Betty, Peggy, Jeff, Ginny, Ann

13 out of the 17 cousins: Shelli, Erik, Leena, Mary Lee, Weston, Deanne, April, Josh, me, Robin, Jason, Scott, and Jon. (Missing: Nicole, Cole, Jim, and Paul)

Lily had a lot of fun with her second cousins Kendall and Molly at the reception.

2nd Cousins: Mason, Tyler, Kyle, Kendall, Lily, Audrey, and Molly. This is the first time my family had met Audrey!

We promised Lily that there was a pool at the hotel we were staying at and that's all she could talk about for 5 hours+ on the way there. Even though it was bedtime when we got there, Dave took her to the pool and they had a blast! Of course, she woke up bright and early the next morning asking when we could go swimming:)

More fun in the pool. All in all, it was a great (& exhausting) trip!
