Today I witnessed one of those precious moments that make all of the stress and exhaustion worth it. I had just gotten Audrey up from her nap and Lily went over by her and announced "She's my best friend!". I said, "who is your best friend?", unsure that I heard her correctly. "Audrey is!" said Lily and then she gave her a huge hug. Wow. It brought tears to my eyes. I've been stressing more lately about how the girls are going to get along as they get older. Right now, I run interference all day trying to keep Audrey from pulling Lily's hair, or Lily from grabbing toys away from Audrey. Needless to say, there haven't been that many loving sister moments (as you probably would expect at their ages). This gives me hope that they may one day love each other and get along as well as I do with my sister.Thursday, July 16, 2009
Best Friends?!

Hearing Lily yesterday gave me something to look forward to with Camila and Baby Girl #2! I loved that she hugged Audrey while saying she was her best friend. Remember that moment! :)
Don't worry Angie. I had the same doubts about you and Nicole ever getting along together. It all turned out just fine didn't it?
