Three weeks ago (yes, I'm that far behind!), we had the Miedema family over for taco night so we could celebrate our new house and Lily's birthday (a little early). We were still buried in boxes, but managed to cook our first real meal in our new kitchen. What a fun night! It's so nice to have the room to have friends come to our place. We haven't been able to do that for a long time!
To top off the night, Mike got the phone call that the seller had accepted the offer they put of their house! What a night of celebration! We decided to break out the sparkling apple juice to toast the occasion:)
The Miedema's gave Lily this bubble-blowing lawn mower for her birthday. It was a hit!
Hailey got the bubbles going too:)

Carter was all smiles that night. Here Lily is sitting with her little buddy.
Lily likes to "pet" little babies to show her affection. Let's hope she's this gentle with our new baby girl!

Lily's getting good practice showing her affection for babies. It won't be long now and she'll be showing her love for her little sister!
