This past weekend we took our one and only trip to the Williams Family cabin in WI. It's amazing how the summer has flown by and this was the only weekend we could make it up there! This was also my last "big" trip before the baby comes, as it's getting pretty uncomfortable to sit in the car.

Dave found a frog on the shore to show Lily. She is truly not afraid of bugs or other creatures which is great! I guess since we don't show fear of them, she has not picked up on that. She is just very interested to see the animals in person that are in her books!

Lily "driving" the boat (don't worry, it was on the lift!).

Lily enjoyed digging in the sand and throwing various things into the water to see them splash! Thank goodness Grandma remembered her sand buckets and shovels!

Ladies of the lake:)

Lily liked just walking around in the water. She was not bothered at all by the slimy stuff on the bottom or the rocks on the shore. What a nature girl!

It's not surprising that Lily liked pouring the lake water into the wagon, she loves it in the tub too!

Since Lily is a little young to do real tubing, Dave took her on the tube along the shore. Although she didn't always have a smile on her face, she really seemed to be having fun!

Papa was the "boat" for Lily's tubing ride.

For the ride to the cabin, I got a new sing-along CD for Lily. Her favorite was "Ring Around The Rosie". As you can see, she loved falling down onto the pillow. In fact, Lily had so much fun at the cabin that she got up extra early each morning and skipped her nap on Saturday. She almost fell asleep in her dinner!

It was a little chilly once evening came, so Lily needed to borrow a sweatshirt from Grandma. I think it might be the first time Lily has donned Badger gear. My extended family would be so proud!

Here I am at 34 weeks along. The big news with the baby is that she seemed to drop further down on Tuesday. I can breathe better and her kicks are lower. However, this does not bode well for my bladder! I was already carrying her low, so now I'm having even more trouble finding shirts long enough to cover my belly. Everything was fine at my appointment on Monday. I measured right at 34 cm so I'm all caught up. In a week and 1/2 I start going to the doctor every week. That means we are getting close! I still have so much to do before our little girl comes so I'd better get crackin'!

So many updates! I love, love, love the picture of Lily after Ring around the Rosie. The joy on her face is priceless (and her hair framing her face is hilarious!) Glad you enjoyed a quick family trip before you become a family of 4!
