Last night we attended the end of the year Pediatrics Residency Banquet. It is the "graduation" event for the program. Lily and I stayed for about 2 hours of it and I think she did pretty well sitting in her highchair. Thankfully there were lots of other kids around so her yelling out things didn't matter too much. We are VERY proud of Dave for finishing his residency and we're excited for him to start his new job in August!
They called each graduating resident up and said some nice things about each person. I tried to catch Dave, but didn't get a great picture. Maybe it was because I decided to take Lily out of her chair and lift her up so she could see Dave. She was yelling out "Daddy" while I was trying to hold her and take a picture. I took this one before I was balancing Lily on my hip:)
Our friends Matt and Fran were there with their new baby girl, Erin. Fran is a Pediatrics resident a year behind Dave. It was the first time we've meet Erin and Lily kept saying "Baby Nigh Nigh?" since she was sleeping most of the time:) What a doll!
