Nana

I've been meaning to write, but I think it's taken a while for me to digest and put into words what the past week or so has been like. We found out last Tuesday that Chris's/Nana's ovarian cancer has returned after over 3 years of remission. I think we got used to normal reports from every appointment and we got into a cruise mode thinking that everything was going to be okay. This really took us by surprise. Chris had surgery on Wednesday to remove the tumors that had reappeared and now faces months of chemo treatments again. Although many of the statistics are discouraging, I believe that anything can happen and have found survivor stories to support that it can. If anyone can beat this, Chris can because she is amazingly strong. We would just like to ask for your thoughts and prayers as Chris begins the battle again.
