On Friday, Grandma and Grandpa Quale came in for a visit and we went to the Mall of America to see Underwater Adventures. Lily loved it! Unfortunately, all I had was my camera phone to take pictures, but it's better than nothing:) Above, she is "petting" a sting ray. She loved splashing in the water, but she did not want to get close enough to actually touch the ray. To be honest...that's fine with me:)
I love this picture! When you go through the long tube-like aquarium, it's sort of distorting. It feels like the fish and rays are going to run right into you as they pass over your head. Very cool.

I know this picture is not very good, but it's significant since it has a turtle in it (and of course Nana:)). As we walked through the freshwater displays with the tanks of turtles Lily proudly exclaimed "turtle!" to each one she saw. I had never heard her say turtle before so that was pretty cool:)

We went to that exhibit with Haylen and Lily Sunde. Haylen wouldn't touch the stingray either (though I can't blame her - neither would I).
