Getting Ready

I had my 36+ week doctor's appointment today and it was all good news. As I had been suspecting, our baby girl has begun to drop! That usually happens 2-4 weeks before delivery for a first baby although it's not a great indication of when she will actually come. She is sitting at station -1 which means she has drop down 4 cm so far and has 6 cm to go (starts at -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3, +4, +5 and out!). At least that is my understanding of the measurements. No wonder I can breath better! Also, as I thought, she is head down. This all makes it seem like she's actually getting ready to come out soon!
