We made it to 30 weeks! All of the sudden, the arrival of our daughter doesn't seem so far away. I had a realization this weekend that I really don't feel alone any more. By that, I mean, when I'm home alone...I'm not! It's like I can feel our little girls presence (even when she's not kicking). She seems more and more like a newborn baby since she reacts to noise and gets mad at me if I cross my arms. She's kicks at them as to say, "I am already running out of room, so don't squish me more!" I had another doctor's appointment this morning (every 2 weeks now). Everything again checked out great. I measured at right at 30 cm, which is right on since I'm 30 weeks now. That means that she must be growing well. I can certainly tell that she's bigger since her movements are more squirmy than hard kicks. She must not have as much room to make big kicking motions.
The above pictures I posted are from the PACER benefit this past weekend. PACER is the organization that my mom works for and that she has also volunteered at for many many years. The puppet in the picture is Sally. I used to braid her hair when I was a little girl so she would be pretty for the puppet shows! Here she is listening to my belly for baby big girl:)
