This year, one day just wasn't enough for the State Fair. Lily had been talking about it for months. I'm not sure how she even remembers going last year. Maybe from pictures. Anyway, we went on a hot Saturday with Dave and then on a pleasant cool day with Grandma and Auntie Nicole. The girls just loved it! They didn't even want to leave after the first day. This was the first year that we've checked out the kiddie rides and we could have spent all day there (although the wallet wouldn't allow that!). They also got really lucky and got to meet and pet LOTS of the animals...even chickens and llamas! They girls talked about it for weeks afterward (and still do now). It looks like we should plan on going multiple times each year. What a great tradition!
