Turkey Day

We spent Thanksgiving day in at Grandma and Grandpa Williams' house this year (instead of making the trek up to the cabin). It was a wonderful day full of lot of yummy food! Audrey decided the best place to take her naps was in Daddy or Mommy's arms so that's just what we let her do. Above she is snuggled up with Dad in the big stuffed chair.

Our picky eater Lily didn't indulge in much of the Thanksgiving feast, but she did like the chocolate turkey cupcakes that Grandma made (especially the candy corn!).

Here Lily is helping out with the sweet potatoes (which is one of the only things she sort of ate!).

Over the weekend, we went to Nana and Papa's house to celebrate Thanksgiving with them and Uncle Zach and Uncle Ryan. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pictures (as I did in Shoreview...the ones above are my mom's)! This was Audrey's first road trip and overnight. She did pretty well, except she and I didn't get much sleep that night. At least Lily did well and only woke once (despite a nasty cold). It was so nice to spend time with family and of course we have an awful lot to be thankful for this year with the arrival of Audrey to our family and Nana's health. We are truly blessed.
