Two night ago, Lily was requesting songs before bed, as she often does. This has always meant that I was the one doing the singing, with her adding a word in here and there sometimes. All of the sudden, she starting singing entire songs all by herself! It was like a switch was turned on and she was off and singing! She sang "I'm a Little Teapot", "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", and "Wheels on the Bus". I was blown away! I wanted to get it on video, but I just sat back and enjoyed this precious parenting moment smiling ear to ear and clapping enthusiastically after each song. She sang again the next two nights so I was able to take the above video. Not bad for an almost 2 and 1/2 year old!

Swish, swish, swish! Fabulous! Looks like she's ready to add dance moves to her songs since she can't stay put in one place.
