One Month Old

I can't believe a month has come and gone already!

I just think she looks so comfy cozy in her swaddle:)

Audrey has become more interested in her surroundings so I got out the good ol' play mat. She likes to lay there for a little while and kick her feet around.

I know this is not a happy pictures, but I wanted a picture of her in this outfit from Nana Quale. She gave it to Audrey when meeting her at the hospital. I remember looking at and thinking it was so huge compared to our little Audrey. Well...now it fits!

I know I have been horrible with the blog updates, but I just haven't had the time or energy lately. I would say in general, Audrey is getting to be a better sleeper. By that, I mean that she can go 4.5 to 5 hours between feedings at times. However, that is not consistent and may happen during the day or night. We'll just say we have good days/nights and bad ones. I'm still concerned that something else is bothering her besides gas build up. She seems to have caught another cold which doesn't help. She just doesn't seem comfortable a lot of the time and recently started coughing/gagging and crying while nursing. I guess it could be a sore throat or something, but I've always had acid reflux in the back of my mind. So, I might take her in to her clinic just to see.

Audrey is growing like a weed and is starting to fill out her baby fat. I still can't get over how long she is. She is now in some 3 month sized clothes and size one diapers (after two big blow outs...it was time). She continues to be very alert when awake and will gaze into your eyes for a long time! There have been a few "almost" smiles so we are thinking the real thing might be close. I think that will make Lily (and Dave and I) very happy:)
