Yesterday, we closed on our house and went to "meet" it in the evening. Lily had a blast running around the big empty house! My favorite part of the visit (besides the incredible feeling of walking in the door for the first time as the owner!) was when we introduced Lily to her room (see picture above). I opened the door and said "Lily, this is your room!". She ran in and laid down in the middle of the floor with a huge smile on her face. It's like she understood and was so happy that she was home!

I love this picture! She looks like such a big girl. As you can see, the walls in her room are dark green and cream with a sports ball border and multi-colored outlet covers. We are going to change that today to lavender walls and white outlets. I hope she's not disappointed since she really liked naming the colors of the outlets and counting them!
I was trying to catch Lily running from room to room upstairs and this blur was all I could catch!

This is random, but this is Lily's version of helping to pack. Uncle Ryan came over to help pack a few nights ago (thank goodness!) and Lily decided to use the bag of packing paper as an big stuffed chair instead.

I can't believe how old Lily looks! I can't wait to meet the new house and see the repainted rooms.
