Here are Lily and Mom before the party got started. The theme was ladybugs and more specifically, it was based on the book "Five Little Ladybugs" that she likes to read.

Here are some cake pictures. Lily wasn't really interested in food that day because she was coming down with a nasty stomach bug. She just sort of picked at it. I froze a piece of cake so she can try it later.
Lily wasn't quite feeling herself and this was one of the few smile pictures. It helped when Dad tickled her chin with her feathery birthday hat:)
Lily got many wonderful gifts from her friends and family. Thank you all who could come and help Lily celebrate her special day. It was so much fun! (Auntie Nicole, you were GREATLY missed at Lily's party...we love you!)

We had so much fun at your birthday party Lily! Your first year brought joy beyond description. We've watched you grow from a newborn to an adorable toddler. It was amazing! We love you.
