I've been meaning to get this blog set up weeks ands weeks ago! I figured it would be an easy way to keep all of our loved ones up to date on this exciting adventure. Right now, I'm about 18 and 1/2 weeks pregnant with our first bundle of joy. I'm definitely showing a little belly and as of last week, I'm pretty sure I've been feeling some kicking going on in there. It's so crazy to picture a little baby swimming around in me, but now that I feel it...it makes it a whole lot more real! According to books and websites, the baby is about 6 inches long (head to rump) and could fit in the palm of your hand. Our next big excitement is the 20 week ultrasound on March 2nd. I had an ultrasound early on for dating (about 9 weeks) and it looked like a gummy bear! We can't wait to see our little one again and hopefully find out if its a boy or girl. To describe our excitement for baby Quale is too difficult to put into words. It's the most amazing experience and I can't imagine sharing it with anybody other than Dave.
