These are all pictures I have from December. We certainly fit a lot of holiday fun into that month. I chose to celebrate the season through the eyes of the girls as much as possible because in their world, there is no sadness. It was a difficult Christmas without Chris. The girls still have no understanding of the finality of her passing and therefore still carried with them the unbridled excitement and enthusiasm for the Christmas and everything surrounding it. It was important for us still to celebrate and they helped me do that.
Now that I am pretty much caught up in the picture department, I hope to return to my old style of blogging. I realize now all I do is picture dump and I don't really write very much. Although it's nice to record what the girls are up to in pictures, I find when looking back at old posts, I treasure the writing more. So, you can call it a New Year's resolution if you want, but I will try to update more often and with more substance!
