We headed up to the cabin for Memorial Day Weekend. This is the first time since Lily was born that I actually fully enjoyed the cabin. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but now that the girls are older I feel like they are more flexible and can truly enjoy the lake a lot more than just splashing around a bit. That makes me relax and have more fun too:) My mom found a Dora the Explorer fishing pole for Lily. She has been somewhat addicted to fishing before this weekend, but that put her over the top! Dave put a lot of fishing time in with her. Lily and Audrey both loved playing in the water. The water is unbelieveably low this year, which is bad for some reasons, but great for little kids! They had a nice shallow sandy shoreline to play along. The girls slept great and had so much fun! I'll try to post of videos too if I can. Lily can't stop talking about the cabin...and fishing of course. Hopefully we can get up there one more time this summer.
