What a difference a month makes! Audrey is now mobile. Many times I have found myself describing her as "crazy". She is all over the place! I'm not used to having a climber (Lily was not) so Audrey definitely keeps me on my toes. She loves ridng on the bus (above) and if her feet touched, I'm sure she would be scooting all over. She also can push the bus around "walking" behind it very tentatively. Walking might be right around the corner!

Audrey is a fairly good eater and we are trying to transition her to more table foods while she's still willing to try everything. Texture seems to be an issue. I tried to give her canned pears and peaches and there was a lot of gagging. She did better with peas and canned green beans. We just don't want another picky eater!

I know I mentioned this before, but one of Audrey's favorite things to do is pull up on the laundry basket and pull out all of the clothes. As long as I don't mind the mess, it's actually a good way to keep her busy and in one place for a few minutes!

Sleep has been an issue for a while now. Of course, getting two colds back to back with only one week in between doesn't help! She's been sleeping more like 10 hours or less at night and her two naps are almost always broken up with wakings and are still pretty short. I know that some may read this and wonder what I am complaining about. However, I have pretty high expectations for my kids and their sleep. Plus, once they have slept well, it's hard to go backwards!

A week or so ago, I found Audrey standing up in her crib in the morning. Ever since then I pretty much always find her standing after sleeping.

Audrey got her 8th tooth (finally!). Her bottom right #2 tooth came through. It was odd that it took so much time to come in given that the right and left teeth of a pair usually come in within days of each other, not weeks. She's drooling a lot again so I'm thinking her canines might be coming soon.

Audrey is getting better and better at pulling up and cruising. I think she still prefers to walk around using our hands though. She's always grabbing at our hands to pull herself up so she can walk. One fun game she started the other day was to jump/fall into my arms. I stand her up on the ottoman and she turns and leaps into my lap. It's hilarious since she does it with no fear of falling and her mouth open wide.

One very exciting change in Audrey is that we can finally read books to her (without her constantly trying to eat them)! She does the best with touch and feel books, but at least it's a start.

Here is a rare picture of Dave with Audrey:) For some reason I don't have many of them together. Audrey waved at Dave for the first time a few weeks ago. That was pretty much her one and only attempt so it was sweet that she waved at her daddy:)
Clearly the biggest change in Audrey is that she is crawling. It's amazing how fast she went from barely rolling to super fast crawling. At the end of May, she was army crawling very well and days later she was off and running! She is certainly keeping me busy. Thank goodness for the exersaucer since that still keeps her marginally entertained for a few minutes if need be.
Audrey had her 9 month doctors appointment this week. She did great! I was a little worried because she has stranger anxiety now. Of course not having any shots also helped. Audrey is 28 and 3/4 inches tall (85-90%), weighs 19 lbs 3.5 oz (60%), and has a head circumference of 43.8 cm (50%). She is wearing 12-18 month sized clothes. Both Audrey and Lily always double their age in clothes size. Thankfully that means Audrey can wear Lily's old clothes. Of course, I still have fun buying Audrey some new clothes of her own:)
