Home Sweet Home

Our little family of three is home! We got home from the hospital on Thursday night and after a rather rough first night, things are running a little smoother now. The biggest challenge by far has been figuring out breastfeeding. That is going a little better so of course that means a little more sleep at night. I've posted a few pictures from this weekend. As you can see, Lily loves her swing and, for the most part, likes to be swaddled in a little cocoon. She already looks very different from when she first made her entrance since the swelling has gone down from her "journey". We have no idea where her full dark brown hair came from since I only had a medium amount of light brown hair as a newborn and although Dave had a lot of hair, it was red! We've gotten a few hints of smiles (whether they are real or gas-induced, I'm not sure:)) and it looks like she might have a hint of her Daddy's dimples.

I would really like to thank everybody for the messages, gifts, and visits. It has meant so much to us to have such wonderful families and friends! We look forward to even more people meeting our sweet baby Lily:)

Hey Sweet Lily ! You look so adorable all dressed up! I can't believe how much you've changed in just a couple days. So many people here in New London know about your birth and have seen your pictures, and they all think you are beautiful! Grandpa and I miss you so much, and we talk about you all the time. We can't wait for our next visit. Give your mom and dad a little kiss for us. We'll be seeing you soon. Grandma loves you!
